Christopher Lockhart
is the Story Editor at WME, the world's largest talent agency, where he
looks for potential film projects for a small roster of "A" list clients
including Denzel Washington and Steve Martin.
He previously spent nine years at ICM, where duties included running the Story Department. Chris has an MFA in dramatic writing from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts. He has taught writing at UCLA, Los Angeles Valley College and lectures around the country. His writing workshop THE INSIDE PITCH aired on local TV and earned him an L.A. Area Emmy nomination. He co-produced the horror film THE COLLECTOR (2009) and its upcoming sequel THE COLLECTION (2012). Chris is producer/writer of the documentary MOST VALUABLE PLAYERS (2010), which recently won the "Documentary Channel Audience Award" at the Nashville Film Festival. It was acquired by Oprah Winfrey to be part of her new "Documentary Club" and debuted on OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network in September. It will be released on DVD and VOD in early 2012. Chris is a member of the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences; the Writers Guild of America, West and the Producers Guild of America. |
